Youth Mentoring and Counseling
Mr. Saunders presently works as a youth mentor and counselor for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). He teaches life skill classes for middle and high schoolers at multiple CPS locations. Schools include but not limited to Gage Park High School, Madison Elementary, Dunbar High School, Metcalfe Elementary, Richards High School, and Claremont Elementary.
Mr. Saunders also works with The Ark of St. Sabina Youth Center and several other Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
He addresses relevant topics as gang/drug prevention, anger management, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sex education, etiquette, fatherlessness, dangers of today’s social media/music propaganda and much more.
