Gordon Mayer provides community and faith leaders with tools to find and tell their stories. His work includes:

Database development and implementation
At Gamaliel Network, where he is currently director of development and communications, and throughout his career he has worked with organizers and grassroots advocates to manage, fundraise, and amplify the voice of complex national networks and local groups.
Previously as vice president of Community Media Workshop (now Public Narrative) he provided communications training to nonprofit volunteers and staff at arts and service organizations as well as providing communications coaching and training to Charles Stewart Mott and other foundations and their grantees. A former journalist at the Gary Post-Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Chicago Defender, he holds a master’s degree from University of Chicago.
Gordon is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
